The Ninth Wave

The Ninth Wave shows a handful of survivors clinging to a fragment of mast after a night storm, as the sun breaks over a sea still heaving with enormous swells. The title comes from an old sailors’ belief that waves build in sequence and the ninth is the most destructive.
