Terms & Conditions
(Last updated: August 2026)
The basis on which we sell you a canvas. Written to be read, not to be impenetrable. They apply to every order placed through iskuss.com.
Who You Are Buying From
ISKUSS, a sole proprietorship registered in India. Our registered address is 402, ISKUSS, 1st Main, 4th Cross, Krishna Layout, Hulimavu, Bangalore – 560076, Karnataka, India. You can reach us at contact@iskuss.com.
What We Sell
Canvas reproductions of existing paintings. Each is printed to order on archival canvas and supplied rolled and unframed. A reproduction is not the original work and is not represented as one; the certificate of authenticity that accompanies your order confirms the piece as a genuine ISKUSS reproduction, not as an original painting.
We reproduce works that are in the public domain, or that we are otherwise entitled to reproduce. Canvases are sold for private, personal display. Buying one does not transfer any copyright, nor any right to resell, reproduce or use the image commercially.
Prices and Payment
All prices are shown in United States dollars and are payable in full at the time of ordering. Payment is handled by PayPal; we do not receive or store your card details. Prices exclude any import duty or tax charged by your own country, which is covered on our Shipping page.
We take reasonable care over pricing, but if a piece is listed at an obviously incorrect price we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm your order by email. We may decline an order — for example if we cannot ship to your location, or if the piece cannot be produced to our standard — and if we do, you are refunded in full.
Because every canvas is printed to order, production begins shortly after your order is confirmed. If you need to change or cancel, write to us immediately and we will do what we can.
Delivery, Damage and Returns
Delivery is free worldwide and typically takes two to three weeks. If your canvas arrives damaged or faulty we replace it at no cost to you, including return postage. The full detail is on our Shipping and Returns pages, which form part of these terms. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason; we honour that, and the Returns page explains how.
Delivery estimates are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance or by the carrier once a shipment has left us, though we will help you chase anything that goes astray.
Colour and Appearance
Screens vary. The colour you see on your monitor or phone will not be an exact match for pigment on canvas, and no reproduction is a perfect facsimile of an original painting. Reasonable variation of this kind is not a fault.
What We Are Responsible For
Our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or affects statutory consumer rights you may have in your own country.
Privacy
How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Which Law Applies
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bangalore have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
